The Oakley Airbrake™ XL Engine Room PRIZM Snow Goggles come with a less technical aesthetic and a more flush design, created for the consumer looking for a larger size Goggle with Switchlock™ Technology. The intent was to combine the benefits of a larger size and periphery goggle with the ease of interchangeability of Switchlock™ lens technology. The amazingly clean and flush O Matter® outrigger system makes these goggles compatible with many helmets, or you could even wear them without. Just when you thought Oakley couldn't make a better goggle, the Airbrake™ XL drops and leaves you in awe.
PRIZM lens technology has been in development for 15 years, and the primary driver for this technology is to better understand what you want to see in the environment and minimize the compromises you have to make. With these lenses, PRIZM technology enhances visibility of snow contours, bumps and textures. It also covers a wider range of light conditions than standard lenses. The PRIZM™ Black Iridium lens is ideal for sunny/bright conditions with a VLT of 5-10%. UV protection of Plutonite® lens filters out 100% of UVA/ UVB/ UVC & harmful blue light up to 400nm.
