The elasticized waistband has an internal drawstring which gives you a casual fit and vertical side pockets that reduce drag in water. Shorts stuff into right pocket, which comes with an internal key loop.

The Patagonia Men's Baggies Lights Short is a nylon short for the guy that spends all summer in his bathing suit. A step up from regular swim trunks, the Baggies Lights have a slim fit, which will cut closer to your legs than the original Baggies. An internal mesh liner allow for a little modesty on the trail. The nylon ripstop fabric is durable, dries quickly, and provides Ultraviolet Protection Factor of 40 from the sun. Two vertical side pockets carry wallet and keys when popping into town for food or at the local hardware store. When you dive into the lake after your chores, the internal string keep them from falling off and the mesh pockets drain quickly.
